Park Beautification Project

The park is the heart of our town.  It displays our patriotism and national pride.  It is the home of the Emmet County Freedom Rock.  Every Memorial Day it is filled with an "Avenue of Flags".  The sidewalks leading up to the shelter house our lined with Memorial Bricks.  It hosts our yearly 4th of July Celebration.  The shelter house can be used for a variety of events and gatherings.  Many families and children come to enjoy the playground.  

For the past few years, we have been working on updating it.  This has included putting in a pergola, new benches, new playground equipment, and replacing our pea gravel around the playground equipment with rubber chips.

Now our playground equipment is in need of some replacements and repairs.
