Christina turns 30 on Friday, May 24th! She wanted to create something meaningful that would help make Furgiven more accessible for the animals that are in care with us, many of whom have mobility impairments.

The paths to our play yards, and the ground when you enter them, are very uneven. We have used mats, turf, cardboard boxes, and a plethora of other temporary measures to try and flatten them out, but with the amount of rain we recieve, they quickly become lumpy and muddy. Each of the play yards also currently has a large 2x4 at the entrance, that is both difficult to step over for mobility impaired pups, and creates a giant mud puddle at the entrance of each yard when it rains. We've made it work, but we need a long term solution.

Christina has chosen to fundraise for paving stones for her birthday, so that we can install them in each yard to create flat ground at each of the entryways, and a main path to span from our back door, through the back yard to the areas we need it the most. With 9 paving stones going each dogs' yard, and nearly 200 needed for the path, we are predicting a total need of 250 paving stones.
