Pagudpud Adventist Wellness Center (PAWC) was founded in 2013 and has since grown into one of the leading medical clinics in the northwestern Philippines. Located in the Ilocos Norte region, in the municipality of Pagudpud, PAWC is able to provide medical services to patients across nearly 5 other municipalities, reaching communities within more than an hour’s radius.

During our time serving here as Student Missionaries (2025-2026), we have been privileged to work closely with the clinic and witness firsthand the impact this clinic has had on the surrounding communities. Through this experience, it's been deeply impressed on our hearts to give back in a way that extends beyond our limited time of service here. Opportunities to fundraise have emerged as our way to do so – but we cannot do it alone.

With the support of generous people like you, we believe these projects can become a reality. If you feel interested in our project, we would be incredibly grateful for any amount you feel impressed to give. Every little bit is appreciated, and we continue to pray that the funds raised will be a blessing to the community in Pagudpud and a gift used to further God’s Kingdom through careful, compassionate commitment to patient care.

There are THREE projects we intend to put any donated funds towards. Below, you can find an overview of how the donations will be allocated.

Lab Equipment

The first and most pressing need requires funds to cover some of the equipment used in the clinic’s Laboratory Department. This equipment supports a wide range of essential blood tests and is critical to patient diagnosis and care. This project requires the most extensive funding, and you can expect that most of your donations – should you choose to donate – would be allocated to this project.

Mobile Clinics

The second project would give money towards further establishing the up-and-running mobile clinic services PAWC has recently begun offering. These services involve sending out a mobile clinic team once a week to more isolated areas where locals don't have the access to transportation they would need to get to the main clinic campus. Locals are provided with limited, but adequate free healthcare services through these mobile clinics. Funding this project would allow these mobile clinics to provide remote lab work to test cholesterol, glucose, hemoglobin, etc. levels, as well as to give the mobile clinic project a more solid foundation to build off of as it continues to grow in the future.

Clinic Transportation

The final money and a small portion of the raised funds would go towards additional clinic transportation. Currently, PAWC relies on a small tuk-tuk (known locally as a Bajaj) to serve PhilHealth patients, conduct home visits, and meet other community needs. Its current state, however, makes driving it almost dangerous. Purchasing a new Bajaj would make traveling safer and more consistent, not only for the PAWC staff, but also for Student Missionary groups who will serve here in the future.

We recognize that it is a big ask to help us in reaching our fundraising goal, but we believe that through thoughtful prayer and hopeful support, this project will be a blessing both to PAWC and to the greater Pagudpud community.
