Our Team has always had a soft spot for pups. Around here, it’s not just us humans who find joy at the beach — our dogs do too.

Wilmington gives us the perfect backdrop and weather to spoil our pups. From salty air to sandy paws, there’s something special about watching them light up along the shoreline. Paws Around the Loop started as a simple idea: gather our community, leash up our dogs, and enjoy one of the best parts of living here together.

But we knew it could be more than just a walk.

We have a personal connection to paws4people®, and we’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact these dogs make. The training, the care, the purpose behind every placement — it changes lives.

paws4people® Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises, trains, and places highly skilled Assistance Dogs with children and adults living with disabilities, veterans with service-related needs, and professionals working in educational and therapeutic settings. Their dogs are not just companions — they are carefully trained partners that provide independence, confidence, safety, and support.

The level of training, care, and commitment behind every placement is extraordinary. That’s why we’re turning our beach morning into something that gives back.

We’re hosting a community fundraiser & raffle to support their mission and help fund the training and placement of these incredible dogs. Whether you’re walking the loop with us or supporting from home, every ticket purchased helps make a difference.

Three winners will be drawn on March 7th. You do not need to be present to win! That means share this opportunity to support this event with your friends and family even if they are from out of town.
