Here's a quick look at what we've been up to here at the shelter as well as a sneak peek at what we are working on for 2024 and beyond.

We are VERY excited to have a PUB/PUP CRAWL event on Saturday, August 24th in downtown Aberdeen from 5-7:30 pm. Festivities will take place at 5 different locations: Messy Jessy's, Mt. Olympus Brewing, Rediviva, The Tap Room, and Steam Donkey. In addition to drink and food specials at each location, a variety of prizes are up for grabs through multiple games. More details will be shared as we get closer to the date! Thank you to our event sponsors Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union and Rognlin's for helping us make this event possible.

Additionally, we are thrilled to be partnering with photographer Darrell Westmoreland to create a 2025 CALENDAR featuring PAWS pets and members of our community. Pre-order details will be released later in August.

We recently celebrated 1 year of the return of the beloved Freedom Tails program, which pairs a duo of incarcerated individuals up with a PAWS of Grays Harbor pooch for a 12-week board and train program. To celebrate, we've DOUBLED the program from 8 dogs to 16 dogs! The next round is set for August 8 - October 31. Find out more at pawsgh.org/FreedomTails.
