NOVEMBER 9th, 2024 THROUGH JANUARY 1, 2025 6:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M.

Tanglewood Park's rolling countryside transforms each holiday season into a shimmering Winter Wonderland with more than a million twinkling lights aglow. Entering its 33nd season, the Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park is open nightly from 6-11 p.m. starting Nov. 9th, through Jan. 1.

Visitors drive through the park to enjoy the light show. There are areas along the route where visitors can stop to relieve themselves and their pets.

There is a gift village: Enjoy some holiday shopping at our Gift Shop located at the Red Barn. The Gift Shop is located approximately halfway through the light show route. Here you will find holiday crafts, specialty foods and handmade gifts by local artisans. You can also pick up the annual Festival of Lights ornament for your collection! Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as well as cash. A pre-sale event will be held November 11th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. During the show, the Gift Shop closes at 11 p.m. except for December 31st, when it closes at 10 p.m.

S’moresville: Lowes Foods has brought back the marshmallow cooking experience to Festival of Lights with S'moresville! This long-loved family tradition is located in the Gift Village, right outside the Gift Shop. Lowes will be selling the roasting sticks with either marshmallows or s'mores kits on-site. Visitors to S'moresville may not bring their own sticks or food items for roasting. S'moresville will close each evening at 10PM. S'moresville will be closed on Christmas day.

Inside the park, Tanglewood Stables offers horse-drawn carriage rides and tractor-pulled hayrides which provide a unique alternative viewing experience to the Festival of Lights show. Carriage rides and hayrides are scheduled by appointment only and normally sell out prior to Opening Night. Call early for reservations: 336-766-9540.

November 11^th and 12^th

This is a special two-day fundraiser which takes place prior to the Festival of Lights opening to the public. Attendees can walk through a portion of the light show with their leashed dogs. Tickets are required in advance and are based on a timed entrance to the event. $50 Per Car ticket gets everyone in your *vehicle! Single participants can select an Individual Ticket for $20.

There are vendors, food trucks, and even a holiday pet photo booth. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Davie County (HSDC). HSDC is a non-profit which does not receive government funding and relies on support from our community. This event supports our important programs including a community pet-food pantry, low cost spay & neuter clinic, rescue transport, and funding for medical care for pets in our adoption/foster programs.
