The PCAS Youth Track & Field team is back in action for another year of training and fun! We need your support to fund this amazing program. When you do, you'll make it possible for PCAS to reach more youth and give them the same opportunities that other kids have. And you'll help our athletes get to the Jr. National Games this July in Colorado. Please read on to learn more about our amazing kids and the impact our program has.

Our Challenge

Every day, children & youth with disabilities are excluded from communities and activities that promote healthy living. Scholastic sports programs do not provide opportunities for youth with disabilities. As a result, kids miss out on critical growth opportunities.

We're On a Mission to Change That.

With our supporters, we are building communities of inclusion where people with disabilities can fully participate in community life.

Champions Are Made Here.

Our Youth Para Track and Field competitors have won three consecutive national division titles! We hope they will be able to once again attend the National Championships in Colorado this year. However, going to Colorado is expensive. Nonetheless, the experience is so crucial to a child's development that we are reaching out for your help. PCAS is one of the few places where young people with a disability can take part in sports.

Redefining Possible

Two of our athletes have been able to compete with their school team. Thanks in part to our program and a fantastic head coach, Darla Clayton. But more than 95% of children with disabilities are unable to take part in scholastic sports due to school policy. We need to get all our children involved in both community and school sports because our communities are stronger when we recognize all abilities.

We want opportunities for sports for all children. It does, however, need time, effort, and resources to make change happen. We need to change how communities and schools perceive a child's ability. We do that through example. By giving our kids the opportunity to show their abilities in our programs. Can you help Redefine Possible for our kids with your donation?

A parent told us “Track is one of the best things that has happened” to their child. Through support like yours, our young athletes can experience a sense of normalcy and belonging.

We don't want any child to miss out because of their family finances. If you or your family is in a position to help, please consider making a donation to PCAS’s Youth Track and Field Fund today. Every dollar makes a difference!

Your support will allow:

  • PCAS to continue operating programs geared for youth with disabilities like Youth Para Track & Field, Youth Para Rowing, and our High Performance Youth Ski Camp.
  • Help with expenses to the Youth National Wheelchair Championships for qualified athletes.

Thank you in advance for supporting our program, these amazing athletes, and their run for a 5th consecutive championship! You're helping us Redefine Possible.

Please make a donation today. Or join this fundraising team by clicking the fundraise button on this page. You'll supercharge your impact!

Sincerely, Jeff McGinnis, Executive Director
