The 50 State Challenge is a nationwide fundraising initiative benefiting Project CF Spouse, the only nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to supporting spouses and partners of individuals living with cystic fibrosis.

Cystic fibrosis reshapes relationships as much as it affects health. Spouses and partners often take on the roles of caregiver, advocate, coordinator, and emotional anchor while navigating careers, finances, and uncertainty, yet their needs are rarely addressed directly within traditional CF support systems.

This challenge represents all 50 states and calls on people from each state to get involved.

The goal of the 50 State Challenge is to engage at least 50 donors in each state, with participants contributing $50 to support CF spouses and partners nationwide.

That means 2,500 donors coming together to strengthen education, advocacy, and connection for CF spouses and partners nationwide.

Funds raised through the 50 State Challenge help Project CF Spouse:

Expand education, connection, and peer support for CF spouses and partners
Develop practical tools that address caregiver strain, burnout, and isolation
Advocate for the inclusion of partner perspectives in CF care, research, and policy
Strengthen a nationwide community centered on partnership, resilience, and shared experience
