Shop With A Hero

Each year officers from Powell, Dublin, and the Sherrif's Department and volunteers from PCPAAA shop with children who are identified as "in need" by the schools.

This is a community outreach program designed to foster positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve, particularly focusing on children and families in need.   During the event, children are paired with police officers and given the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts, school supplies or other necessities.  The program aims to provide a positive experience for children, allowing them to interact with officers in a friendly and supportive environment.  It also helps to build trust and understanding between law enforcement and the community, while proving assistance to families who may be facing financial challenges.
