How Can We Best Support Our Communities in Need?

Our communities are filled with people who are struggling—people who need more than words of encouragement. They need opportunities, resources, and unwavering support. Together, we can uplift and empower those who are having the hardest time finding their footing.

At Justice By Objectives, we focus on some of the most pressing needs:

Justice-involved individuals who are trying to rebuild their lives often face steep barriers to housing, employment, and stability the moment they’re released.
Many have no guidance, no safe path forward—only the “hard way.”
Without support, cycles of struggle and incarceration can repeat endlessly.

Our mission is to provide peer support and family peer support to those walking the road we have walked ourselves, or who are helping a loved one navigate it. We know firsthand how it feels to be sent to the wrong resource, to be shuffled from place to place, and to feel like the system is built to keep you out.

We want to change that.

We want to be the umbrella on a rainy day while you’re waiting for the bus. We want to remind people to spread kindness, to share their truth—even when it’s uncomfortable—and to hold tight to values and morals that build strong communities.

We provide an array of services but have been really focusing on establishing a new apprenticeship program to help individuals that are being released seek formal training to go into the field of lived experience professional. This is a paid opportunity while they gain certifications, education, field training, and best understanding on how to help our communities. They will go through healing program, and utilize resources that will be best appropriate for the client.

We want our communities to heal from the hurt, traumas, memories, and childhood that they never were given the tool to do so. If we want to help others we need to help ourselves heal. We will be triggered in a moment that wouldn't upset us if we were flashed back to a memory of our abuser when you smell the same cologne during the process of filling out intake papers. What if you looked just like the lady that said I was stupid or used to hit them with a hanger? We want to help provide the best support to get our communities the best support during the hardest moments.
