Reclaiming Sacred Territory for Planetary Healing & Regeneration

An urgent opportunity to reclaim 72 hectares of sacred land in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta — known to the Arhuaco people as the Heart of the World.

This land, once overtaken during times of war and violence, now sits on the edge of the village of Gunkeyruwan Geken, home to Arhuaco leaders who were sent two decades ago to restore peace and protect the Bisikungwy Mountain region — a sacred mountain containing over 500 natural springs and ancient ecological ecosystems.

With your support, we will secure this land for good, and get it transferred back into the hands of the original stewards.

Phase 1: Land Acquisition

Purpose: Purchase 72 hectares of ancestral land adjacent to Gunkeyruwan Geken
Ecological Importance: Located at the base of Bisikungwy Mountain, one of the most vital water reservoirs in the Sierra
Threats if Unprotected: Risk of extractive use, deforestation, agrochemical contamination, and illegal roads
Cultural Relevance: Land historically part of Arhuaco territory, taken during a period of displacement

By acquiring this land, we seed the return of an entire ecosystem — and protect the water that gives life to thousands downstream.

Phase 2: Village Expansion – Building the Peace Village

Once the land is secured, the community of Gunkeyruwan Geken will initiate the Peace Village Expansion, a step for global reconciliation and regeneration, a place that is visioned to become the collective demonstration for intercultural collaboration for global crises solutions.

This village will become:

A Sanctuary for Indigenous Life
Space for the Arhuaco to expand their homes, gardens, and community life in harmony with nature.
A Gathering Place for the Planet
A global meeting ground where elders from the Arhuaco community and leaders from around the world come together to share wisdom and engage in solutions to the planetary crises.
A Sacred Site for Ceremonial Exchange
A location for sacred intercultural gatherings, ancestral ceremonies, and spiritual realignment between modern and ancient cultures.
A Communication Hub
A location to film, document, and record ancestral wisdom which turns into the launch of the "Ancestral Wisdom Academy" -- creating an access point for sharing ancient wisdom worldwide.

Why This Moment Matters

We are living in a critical time in history. Climate collapse, spiritual disconnection, and systemic violence are symptoms of a deeper imbalance.

The Arhuaco people — considered by many as one of the most spiritually aligned Indigenous Nations on Earth — are offering a way forward. But they cannot do it alone.

This is a rare moment to co-create with a people who have preserved Earth’s ancestral memory for thousands or years, and who now invite the world to listen.

Gunkeyruwan Geken and the Ni’Kuma government will steward the land with full transparency and oversight. Sun Nation works as a bridge for global communication and cultural diplomatic facilitation.
