Perfect Misfits is a deeply moving, faith-based dramedy about Matthew Sower, a down-on-his-luck teacher who finds healing and redemption by mentoring a group of misfit teens in a foster home.

Beverly Nault
With a remarkable track record, Beverly Nault has earned recognition in twelve screenwriting competitions, placing as a quarterfinalist or higher. Perfect Misfits has garnered her the Best Writer and Best Screenplay awards from the Christian Online Film Festival and the Show Low Film Festival's 2023 Best of the Fest award.

Carly Miller
Carly Miller, through her company Eagle and Child Productions, has written and directed five short films that have screened at eighteen festivals and won twelve awards. Why This Film Matters
More than 23,000 kids age out of the foster care system each year without family, guidance, money, or shelter.

The team behind Perfect Misfits is committed to making a meaningful impact on the foster community through the following initiatives:

1) Donating 2% of all production funds raised to well-vetted organizations that support foster youth and foster programs.

2) Donating 5% of all net profits earned after the film’s release to well-vetted organizations that support foster youth and foster programs.

3) Offering free film screenings and providing a specialized discussion guide to foster care organizations and facilities to encourage positive dialogue.

4) Featuring QR codes, links, and helpful information on our website, social media, and our end credits — to empower viewers to take action. We will regularly promote worthy organizations to our followers through posts, videos, and newsletters.

5) Partnering with organizations and social enterprises that actively improve the lives of foster youth — collaborating with them on cross-promotional events and social media campaigns.
