Hello! My name is Mackenzie Kotsonas, and I am the VP of Operations of the National Team. The work I do with Perfect Pair is incredibly meaningful to me, and I would really appreciate your support as we create authentic intergenerational connections! Upon joining Perfect Pair, I wanted to join as a chance to bring joy and happiness amongst senior citizens in homes as I saw my grandmother go through the same experience herself. While the homes are very nice, my grandmother always expressed how she loved when young light came in, because it reminded all the her and all the residents about family and brought a sense of happiness. Being at school and away from family, Perfect Pair brought me just that again. I was paired up with a resident named Karen that I met with weekly! We both shared a love for meaningful conversations, as well as a passion for helping others. Karen would often give me advice because we shared a similar career path that has still stuck with me to this day. I feel very fortunate to have built a bond between another individual so special and meaningful, and I thank Perfect Pair for that! I feel I have grown tremendously as a person, and any support to grow this organization would be appreciated!
