Hi!! My name is Lauren, and I am the Volunteer Chair of the UW - Madison Executive Board. 

I have been with Perfect Pair since for a little under a year, but have found so much joy in the organization. Working with college students and residents alike has fostered a strong intergenerational connection in not only my life but their lives as well. 

I am fortunate enough to have been paired with Patty. We both love flowers and have a history of floral arranging. Patty even studied floral arranging in Japan. Together we talk about gardening, and flowers and can even plant together. 

 Over the past year, I’ve connected with other residents, like Dan, who lives on Patty’s floor. We have matching green Converse and he never fails to compliment them every time he sees me.

Perfect Pair has not only given me a community in Madison but has brought community to various senior living facilities.
