๐ŸŒฟ Support Permatours 2025: Help Us Resource Land-Based, Regenerative Communities

~~~~~
Through learn-by-doing permaculture action events, we build natural infrastructure, grow gardens, share skills, and strengthen networks of mutual aid, education, and connection
~~~~~

As we step into spring, we’re calling in the resources to bring this work to more communities, with the same deep care, intention, and impact that has guided us from the start.

Permatours is a grassroots nonprofit powered by a growing crew of volunteers, organizers, earth stewards, and visionaries working in service to community, ecology, and a regenerative future.

~~~~~
In 4 years, we’ve co-created:
๐ŸŒฑ 50+ permaculture garden and natural building projects
๐Ÿ•๏ธ Partnerships with 35+ land-based communities
๐Ÿค Thousands of people activated through hands-on learning, mutual aid, and celebration
SEE OUR PORTFOLIO OF PROJECTS (2021 - 2024)
Our work is guided by a rotating leadership model and a commitment to making our events accessible to all, regardless of experience. Each gathering invites people to contribute in the ways they feel called - whether through building, gardening, cooking, art, healing, or simply showing up in service. We blend hands-on projects with cultural offerings like music, movement, and shared meals, creating space for learning, connection, and sharing our gifts in honor of Earth and community.
From installing greywater systems, to building domes, tiny homes, composting toilets, cob ovens, edible gardens, community kitchens, and more, to creating gathering spaces where people reconnect with land and each other - this work is tangible, collaborative, and transformative.
We’ve been invited by inspiring land-based communities throughout the Northeast Bioregion of the U.S. and beyond, who are doing the work—tending land, sharing food and medicine, offering housing and education, restoring biodiversity, and / or creating platforms where people can learn how to survive, thrive, and live in right relationship with Earth.
They are the heartbeat of this movement.
We’re here to walk alongside them - bringing people, tools, and care to help increase their capacity and support what’s already growing.
๐Ÿ’ธ Our 2025 Fundraising Goal: $65,000
This will allow us to:
  • Respond to more invitations from land-based communities in need
  • Offer scholarships and sliding-scale access so that anyone who feels called to participate can, regardless of financial barriers
  • Bring educational, healing, & skill-sharing experiences to people of all backgrounds
  • Cover transportation costs for our events (for our team and event attendees who need transportation)
  • Provide modest stipends for our organizing crew
~~~~~

This year, we’re also:

๐Ÿ—บ Partnering with TerraLux’s Spatial Network to help communities map their land, track projects, tell their stories, and fundraise more effectively. This open-source platform supports resource-sharing and deeper connection across a living network of people, projects, communities, and places—making it easier for regenerative efforts to coordinate, collaborate, and grow together.

Why Your Support Matters:

While we’ve received some support over the past few years through small grants and a handful of ticketed events, this work continues to be fueled by people offering their time, skills, and resources with Love.

By supporting Permatours, you're helping build infrastructure for resilience, education for thriving, and networks rooted in care and Earth connection.
