Dear Perry School Community,

As we gear up for the most magical time of the year, let's come together to make a lasting impact on the lives of the incredible young minds at the Perry School in South Boston! This Giving Tuesday, we are working towards making a significant difference in three key areas that will shape the future of our school community: 

1. Schoolyard Improvement: The schoolyard that is heavily used and loved by all Perry students is in need of repairs and improvements. Your support will give us the resources to replace the infrastructure of areas where students play during recess, gym, and after school. 
2. Literacy Programs: Help us build the foundation for a lifelong love of reading by improving classroom libraries and sending free books home with our students. Your support will empower us to enhance and expand our literacy programs, unlocking the door to imagination and knowledge.
3. Arts and Music Education: Every child deserves the chance to discover their artistic and musical talents. With your contribution, we aim to provide enriching experiences that inspire creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

🎉 The Polar Plunge Challenge: Dive into the Spirit of Giving!

But wait, there's more! If we reach our goal of $20,000, our fearless leader, Principal Rollins, and esteemed State Representative David Biele will take a polar plunge into the chilly waterfront ocean on December 21st after school. 

🌈 How You Can Help:

1. Donate: Monday, November 20 – Wednesday, December 6, contribute any amount you can. All gifts are tax-deducitble. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to our goal. If you donate $500 or more you will be recognized as a Perry School sponsor for the 2023/2024 school year and receive tickets for our Perry Rocks event on March 23, 2024.  All funds raised will be spread across the three key areas.  Does your company have a matching gifts program?  Find out and make your money go even further.
2. Share and ask: Spread the word! Share our campaign on social media, ask your friends and family. Your voice is a powerful tool in building a community of support. Make sure to follow our Instagram (@friendsoftheperry) and Facebook pages (Friends of the Perry School) to easily share about the campaign!
3. Cheer on our Polar Plungers: Let's make it happen! When we reach $20,000, join us on December 21st to witness Principal Rollins and State Representative David Biele take the plunge into the ocean. Your support and encouragement will warm hearts even on the chilliest of days.
