Hi, Im Del Valdivia, and being selected to attend Lacrosse Camps and tryout for the U-20 Peru Lacrosse team has been one of my ultimate goals! Lacrosse has been my passion for 10 years, and now I have the once in a lifetime opportunity to try out for the national team to represent Peru in South Korea in the summer of 2025. I have been on varsity since my freshman year and I am currently a junior at Lindenhurst High School. I started playing travel lacrosse in 2nd grade and I am still playing now for my last year with Legacy Moose. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent Peru, a country where me and my family have grown to love and call my second home. Being part of this journey allows me to connect with my roots and help grow the sport in Peru. Lacrosse has been a huge part in shaping who I am today. It has taught me discipline, balance, and teamwork. Competing on the world stage is a chance to showcase my skills and dedication. This experience will expose me to higher level of competition, and show me the different skills players are going to bring to the field. Hola, soy Del Valdivia, y estoy seleccionado para asistir a los campamentos de Lacrosse en las pruebas para el equipo Sub-20 de Lacrosse de Perú. Esto ha sido uno de mis principales objetivos. El lacrosse ha sido mi pasión durante mi 10 años y ahora tengo la oportunidad única en la vida de probar para el equipo nacional para representar a Perú en Korea del Sur en el verano de 2025. He estado en el equipo universitario desde que estoy en 10 grado, soy Actualmente estudiante de tercer año en Lindenhurst High School. Comencé a jugar lacrosse de viaje en segundo grado y todavía sigo jugando durante mi último año con Legacy Moose. Es un honor para mí tener la oportunidad de representar al Perú, un país donde mi familia y yo hemos llegado a amar y llamar mi segundo hogar. Ser parte de este viaje me permite conectarme con mis raíces y ayudar a hacer crecer el deporte en el Perú. El lacrosse ha sido un papel muy importante en la configuración de quién soy hoy. Me ha enseñado disciplina, equilibrio y trabajo en equipo. Competir en el escenario mundial es una oportunidad para mostrar mis habilidades y dedicación. Esta experiencia me expondrá a un mayor nivel de competencia y me mostrará las diferentes habilidades que los jugadores traerán al campo. Estaría profundamente agradecido por su apoyo en este viaje.
