Serving is the secret ingredient to a happy life! After meeting these adorable kids in the jungle of Peru the first time, I couldn't help but fall in love with each of them. My goal is to meet the basic needs of these precious kids and empower their parents to continue moving toward the lives they all seek to live. The jungle has brought me so much personal healing and growth, I have learned so much being there. I have a burning desire to give back where I can and with what the indigenous need and ask me for. We will be using this money to help feed the children and also bring school supplies (markers, crayons, dry erase boards, paper, pencil sharpeners, paint etc.) to the teachers. (We purchase the supplies they ask for specifically) Eventually we will be doing larger fundraising to help purify their drinking water and bring the villages endless clean water. Preventing diseases, parasites, early deaths, etc. It is easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget that there are people out there who would LOVE even a small fraction of what we take for granted daily. I am so grateful to be taught so much by these wonderful people and I am blessed to be able to do these fundraisers and have many people make it possible to provide the things that the villages need.
