Creating A Legacy By Fighting Against Abuse

THE PURPLE FOR RANDY FOUNDATION: A Subsidiary of The Troubled Movement, Inc.

OUR MISSION:

Empowering survivors, raising awareness, and fostering a community committed to eradicating domestic violence through education, support, and advocacy.

OUR STORY:

Randy Alexander Evans, father to Founder Maranda Evans, was born January 1, 1969 in Madisonville, Texas. Randy was best known for his cowboy persona and big smile with the gold tooth “R” in the front. Unfortunately, Randy’s life was short-lived when he was murdered by his girlfriend on March 14, 2004 when Maranda was only 11 years-old. Randy left behind his children, mother, sisters, brother, and a host of nieces and nephews. His legacy lives on with the #PurpleForRandy hashtag started in 2018 by his daughter, Maranda, where friends and family wear purple on March 14, 2004 every year.

Domestic violence is fatal and we are here to make a change. Although Randy Evans didn’t survive, we are dedicated to save millions in his honor. Donate today to save an abuse victim.
