As we all know, the unprecedented crisis created by the Covid-19 Pandemic is impacting the lives of millions of people. Families who were already struggling are now at severe risk, and many will be unable to pay their utility bills. The need for coats this fall and winter will be greater than ever before. With your help and support, we can help make a positive impact this winter for those in need in the Pittsburgh area.

Did you know?

Approximately 200,000 people die each year from the cold.
Children are unable to regulate their body temperatures as adults do. They can quickly develop hypothermia without protection from the cold.
One study found up to a 31% increase in heart attacks in the coldest months of the year compared with the warmest.
Exposure to cold predisposes people, especially children, to infections like pneumonia.

  - Coats (Baby-Adult sizes)
  - Hats
  - Gloves/Mittens
  - Scarves
  - Hand Warmers (Packs only)
- How to give:
  - Employees can drop off at 30 Isabella
    - Please note,COVID protocols and guidelines MUST be adhered to
  - A member of BLACK@PGH will arrange a socially distant pickup time if preferred
    - Please contact Jorge Lima to arrange a pickup
