Holiday Party with Pia Dandiya

Join the Alliance for American Leadership for a Holiday Party with Congressional Candidate Pia Dandiya

Date: December 20
Time: 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Address: 130 Tranquilla Drive, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33418

The Alliance for American Leadership is pleased to host Pia Dandiya, a Democratic candidate committed to writing a new, more inclusive chapter for Florida and restoring the promise of the American Dream.

Pia will join Former Congressman Tim Mahoney, Former Deputy Inspector General Danny Suarez and Executive Director of the Alliance Asher Moss to discuss the future of District 21 and the important role our nation plays in humanitarian and development aid.

About Pia Dandiya

A proud product of District 21, Pia was born and raised in Jupiter to parents originally from India. Pia started her career as a teacher and most recently, was a high school principal in Harlem. She founded a high school with the goal of changing life trajectories for low-income students by putting them on a path to economic freedom. Every single graduate of her high school earned admission to college, despite 86% of them living below the poverty line. She founded her school at the age of 28, making her one of the youngest principals in the country, and it remains one of the highest performing high schools in New York state. Prior to this, Pia was a proud middle school and high school teacher in low-income schools where she led her students to 90%+ proficiency on state exams. She understands what it takes to create institutions that help American families change their life trajectories and is ready to bring her experience to Washington.

Pia will also stand up for our country’s democratic ideals in this critical moment as politicians in Washington weaken programs that give millions of citizens a fighting chance, such as Social Security, Medicaid and support for our veterans. She will hold those who threaten our country’s core values accountable and fight to build a future that focuses on progress over polarization.

About the Alliance for American Leadership

The Alliance for American Leadership is a grassroots Political Action Committee dedicated to mobilizing the next generation of leaders and restoring America’s commitment to humanitarian aid. We believe an engaged youth electorate can change the trajectory of our country - especially when young people are mobilized around an important issue. That belief drives our work to increase youth turnout, elevate emerging leaders, and support policymakers who champion humanitarian aid.

In a short time, the Alliance has built a national presence and a record of meaningful action:

Why Humanitarian and Development Aid?
Since the Trump Administration dismantled USAID’s humanitarian programs, more than 600,000 people have lost their lives. These cuts also hit home. USAID once purchased crops grown by American farmers and delivered them to starving children around the world. Today, both farmers and children have been left without support. And as America steps back, our competitors are stepping in: China and others are rapidly expanding their foreign aid footprints, filling the vacuum we created and reshaping global influence to their advantage.

Young people understand these stakes - and they want America to do the right thing. Our platform, centered on restoring these essential programs, has brought countless young Americans into the political process, including many first-time voters who had lost faith that politics could deliver real results. We're excited to be hosting Pia because she understands how important it is for America to do the right thing and for young people to join the fight. Together, we can empower the next generation and reshape American foreign policy.

Join us. Be the voice Congress can’t ignore.
