You Can Help Change a Child’s Story

Who are we? Piedmont CASA Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We recruit, train, and support Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) that work to ensure the best interests of the children we serve are heard.

What is a CASA? CASA Volunters are ordinary people who become extraordinary voices for children both in the court room and in the community. CASA Volunteers stand in the gap betwen a child’s challenging present and their promising future. Our Piedmont CASA Volunteers make a meaningful and significant impact on the future of the children of Banks, Barrow, and Jackson Counties.

What does your support mean? Your generous donation helps us provide highly trained volunteers to children that have experienced abuse and neglect and are in need of an advocate - someone to personally visit with the adults involved, including teachers, doctors, therapists, and more. Someone to develop the big picture of what each child needs. Someone to be a voice for them in court and in daily life, ensuring their best interests are at the core of discussions and decisions made.
