The Pierce School PTO has been actively raising funds for a new playground for Pierce School in Bennington, NH. Our current playground was installed more than 20 years ago and at this point, the structures are outdated, one piece of equipment is in disrepair, and the equipment does not meet the span of developmental needs of our students. 

Providing students with up to date play structures that meet safety standards will allow our students to have a safe, inclusive, and fun outdoor play environment. Free time and play is critical for children’s development and enhances their ability to learn.

We are blown away with all the support we have received so far in our goal to get new playground! Thanks to an anonymous donor who matched funds raised in our spring request letters, we have raised an unbelievable $60,990 in under 2 years. Unfortunately, due to inflation and increased equipment costs our original goal had to be updated to reflect these pricing changes. Our final goal is $72,000. We only need $11,815 more to make it happen.
