Pines Bridge Monument

On May 2, 2026, the Town of Yorktown and the Yorktown Historical Society, in collaboration with Revolutionary Westchester 250, are holding a commemoration and tribute to the members of the Rhode Island Regiment who died defending the Pines Bridge crossing of the Croton River on May 14, 1781. African American & Native American soldiers and Colonel Christopher Greene fought together in this desperate battle. Thank you
