2145W - Pink Squishee Unicorns
We are Team 2145W, the Pink Squishee Unicorns, (PSU). We are ambitious Middle School students, who are part of a private non-profit organization funded by sponsors. We found each other through our past experiences in VEX with one another. We saw the dedication in each and every one of us and decided to become a team. Even though some of us live far from each other, we organize our time and manage ourselves well, so no time is wasted.
You might be asking, “How did you guys come up with this name?” Well, one of our members lost a bet with his sister, so we had to name our team “Pink Squishee Unicorns,” with the irony of “Squishee” being spelled wrong.
Our robotics program is among the top in the country. This past season, our three Pink Unicorn teams competed in over 20 tournaments across the U.S., including Ohio, Minnesota, Iowa, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Virginia. We recently returned from the VEX Robotics World Championship in Texas, an international event featuring over 800 qualified teams from around the globe. We’re proud to share that our high school team brought home the Innovate Award, which honors outstanding engineering design and creative thinking.
Your tax-deductible donation would help cover essential equipment, supplies, and tournament costs for the season while giving your brand valuable visibility in a growing STEM and engineering audience.
Thank you,
