Pirates in Action
The Education Foundation created the Pirates in Action Community Service Program to inspire RFHS seniors to give back, grow, and connect with the Rockport-Fulton community. Community service not only benefits local organizations, it builds leadership, responsibility, and civic pride in our students. Research shows students who volunteer are more engaged, perform better academically, and are more likely to graduate. By recognizing seniors who complete service hours at graduation, the Foundation highlights the value of service, encourages lifelong giving, and helps prepare students for success beyond high school—whether in college, careers, or community life.
- Investing in Seniors: Encourages RFHS Class of 2026 (and beyond) to give back and grow.
- Building Skills & Purpose: Volunteering helps students discover passions, gain experience, and build community connections.
- Proven Impact: Students involved in service have higher academic achievement and are 22% more likely to graduate.
- Recognition Matters: Seniors are honored at graduation for their commitment to service.
Mission Alignment: Strengthens civic responsibility and prepares students for life after high school.
