Dear Supporters,

 As the Executive Director of The Therapeutic Play Foundation, I am honored to share the strides we’ve made in 2024—a year of profound growth and impact. Thanks to the unwavering support of generous individuals like you, we’ve distributed over 38,000 pounds of essential goods to children and families, served more than 1,800 community members, provided fresh produce to 654 individuals, and educated over 500 students in mental health peer outreach. These numbers only begin to tell the story of the lives touched and the community strengthened through our work.

This year, we found ourselves in a rapid growth phase, one that has been both exhilarating and challenging. The demand for our type of mental health & advocacy programming is at an all-time high, prompting us to make bold, sometimes daunting decisions to expand our reach. In this phase, we feel like the “little engine that could”—scaling our impact with minimal resources, filling a vital gap in CalAIM services, and ensuring that our approach to care is accessible to all providers. We are dedicated to sharing our learning journey so others can join in building equitable access across our sector.

In 2025, we are moving into new and exciting territory, relocating our headquarters from Pasadena to Los Angeles and strengthening partnerships that expand our network of support; especially in educational settings. This transition positions us to serve even more families and communities, broadening our impact across California.
