Hello,  this is my first year doing the Polar Plunge, and I am a tad bit scared!  You see, I was born and raised in Texas, on Lake Corpus Christi.  I have jumped into that lake many times...however that lake is nice and warm!

From what I understand, I have signed up to jump into a very, very cold pond in an effort to raise money to help some children be able to attend Summer Camp.  This I can do!

I went to Summer Camp every year in Texas.  I formed many great memories with my counselors, and other campers.  So much so that while attaining my degree at my University, every summer I worked at a Summer Camp, somewhere in the US.  I wanted to give those kids the same great memories that I had.  I was a basketball instructor, Golf instructor, head of waterfront, and Paintball Master of Paintball field at different Summer Camps.
