It’s a dark day for the world and an especially dark day for our team at POINT.

At POINT we often tell our users how to help during times of crisis, but this particular moment hits home—literally. The POINT team is based in both Columbus, Ohio, and Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

We have been planning for this possibility over the past few months, prioritizing the safety of our team. We’re raising funds to support not only our team - Nick, Andrew R., Valerii, Eugene, Alex M. Andrew M., and Khrystyna but any and all of their family members.

All funds raised will go towards:

- Travel expenses to leave the country
(Note: This is currently not an option for our team as men are restricted from leaving the country)
- Relocation housing in safer areas and basic living expenses
- Support in the case of personal or familial hardship 

If our team ends up not needing these emergency funds we will donate the funds to local humanitarian aid organizations, Come Back Alive, and the Ukrainian Red Cross.

POINT calls Columbus, Ohio, and Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, our homes. Years ago our CTO and Columbus resident, Alex Shevchenko, brought on his talented friends from back home to help build POINT. Today, our development team has grown and 7 (one of them not pictured) of our key members live in Ukraine. Over the past 3+ years they’ve been the wizards behind the curtain who have created our tech and maximized our impact. We care deeply about our team and their safety and wellbeing is a top priority for us.
