EMPOWER STUDENTS WITH UPLIFTING WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT WITH POST IT LOVE

Did you know that an estimated 16.5% of children aged 3-17, roughly 7.6 million kids nationwide, have been diagnosed with anxiety and/or depression? Underserved students face higher hurdles in their educational journey, being less likely to graduate or pursue higher education. This trend threatens their future opportunities and hinders their overall growth.

At Post It Love, we believe in the power of encouragement. Our mission is to foster a positive and supportive environment that nurtures the emotional health and academic success of students. Through our weekly handwritten notes, we serve as reminders to students that they are cared for and capable of overcoming any obstacle.

Since our founding on Valentine's Day, we have witnessed the incredible impact of our program. We have partnered with 5 school disctricts across Houston,TX, touching the lives of 1,100 students. Our dedicated network of 600+ volunteers nationwide has helped us collect over 28,000+ notes, each one carrying a message of love and support.

I have personally experienced the transformative power of Post It Love. From 2nd grade until my graduation, my mom, the founder of Post It Love, wrote me uplifting and encouraging notes. These messages instilled in me a sense of confidence and self-belief that has stayed with me throughout my life. As a product of these notes, I want to give back to students and allow them to feel the same support and assurance that I did.

My own journey with Post It Love is rooted in the profound impact that my mother's notes had on my life. Seeing firsthand how words of encouragement can shape a child's self-esteem and resilience inspired me to join my mother in creating this nonprofit. Together, we are driven by the belief that every student deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

As we continue to grow, we need your support to sustain our operations and expand our reach. Each school we support requires approximately $7,000 to maintain our program, covering essential expenses such as note collection, processing, distribution, and impact measurement.
