Poverello's 30th Bowl-A-Thon 2022

The Poverello Center, Inc. was originally founded in 1987 by Father Bill Collins who along with his dedicated volunteers, fed people during the darkest days of the AIDS crisis. Today, Poverello continues providing food as medicine to people living with HIV as a chronic condition but has expanded to help people learn to eat well with Cardiac, glycemic and Kidney problems, Cancer or other Critical/Chronic illnesses. Each year over 4,000 of your South Florida neighbors needing support receive Poverello’ s help selecting medically appropriate grocery items from our specialized healthy groceries.

This year when you sign up to Bowl, 100% of your earnings will go toward your selected participant group. Your efforts can help people with HIV, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Cancer or Kidney Disease. You select and the money you raise helps us feed people with the condition you selected. Honor your loved one, spouse, partner or anyone you love by helping support others with the same condition who are in need.
