Our Mission

The Power of Girls is an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing middle and high school girls into confident, savvy, and globally-minded leaders. We believe that by providing girls with the right tools, mentorship, and experiences, we can inspire them to dream bigger and lead with conviction.

Why We Exist

The transition from middle to high school is a pivotal time in a young woman's life. It is a period where self-esteem can waver and the need for a supportive community becomes vital. The Power of Girls steps into that gap, offering a "brave space" where girls can explore their potential, build lasting friendships, and gain the skills necessary to navigate the world with confidence.

How We Make an Impact

Our curriculum is designed to go deeper than standard leadership training. We focus on holistic development through:

Intentional Mentorship: Connecting girls with professional women who provide guidance, support, and real-world perspective.
Leadership Development: Interactive workshops that build communication skills, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking.
Cultural Awareness & Global Voyages: We broaden horizons—literally. From local "Voices & Voyages" showcases to international leadership trips, we expose our girls to a world of possibilities.
Community Engagement: Through events like our "Celebrating Girl Dads" fundraiser, we engage the entire village in supporting the elevation of our young leaders.
