About Power Hour

In an exclusive partnership with FIFA and Coca-Cola’s Kickstart Academy, Girls Inc. presents Power Hour, an interactive career and skill development program for girls in 9th-12th grade! Online modules introducing five career fields are followed up with in-person Career Q&As with local industry experts, culminating in the hands-on opportunity to put new learning to test as girls create various projects that will come together in their very own portfolio!

Power Hour Commitment

Becoming a Power Hour Industry Partner means contributing 10 hours over 8 months to directly impact the next generation of leaders through the Coca-Cola Kickstart Academy. Your support includes a blend of in-person mentorship, virtual collaboration, and a $3,500 sponsorship supporting 50–75 youth participants.

1. Career Talk Q&A
📅 In Person  (Dates TBD)
Share your career journey and answer student questions during a dynamic Saturday morning session.
🕒 Time Commitment: 3–4 hours

2. Project Advising
💻 1–2 Virtual Sessions (Dates TBD)
Collaborate with a Girls Inc. Coordinator to help refine a real-world project that gives girls a hands-on “sample” of your field.
🕒 Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

3. Session Guidance
📅 In Person  (Dates TBD)
Provide in-session guidance and feedback as students develop a project for their portfolios.
🕒 Time Commitment: 3–4 hours

4. Sponsorship Pledge
💵 Due by October 1, 2025
Contribute $3,500 to support participant transportation, supplies, and meals for in-person programming.
