Peace starts at home.

At Practice of Peace Foundation, we believe peace isn't just the absence of conflict — it's the presence of safety, opportunity, and hope. Every day, our teams across New York City walk alongside families and individuals as they move from crisis toward stability, building a better world from the inside out.

The difference you make

Because of supporters like you, we've witnessed remarkable transformation:

500+ families transitioned into stable housing and a fresh start
1,000+ individuals received mental health and recovery support through our Health Realization programs
100+ community members trained in conflict resolution, strengthening the neighborhoods that need it most

Behind every number is a person — a parent unpacking in a room that is finally theirs, a young adult rediscovering confidence, a neighbor choosing understanding over conflict.

Why your support matters now

The need for safe shelter and supportive services in our city continues to grow. Your gift helps us:

Expand transitional housing so more families have a safe place to land
Grow mental health and recovery support for those carrying trauma
Build community programs that promote inclusion, understanding, and peace

Every gift makes a difference

Whether you give $25 or $2,500, every gift moves us closer to a city where peace is not just a dream but a lived reality for everyone.

Imagine a mother tucking her child into bed in a home of their own. Imagine a community gathering to celebrate how far it has come. Imagine a world where every step forward is a step toward peace.

You can make that possible. Donate today and be part of something extraordinary.
