Whisker's Way is dedicated to humanely managing and reducing the feral cat population in the Verde Valley. Our goal is to improve the lives of community cats and support underprivileged populations by addressing the root causes of cat overpopulation. We educate local residents, involve volunteers, and collaborate with businesses to ensure effective and humane trapping. Once captured, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and provided with necessary medical care by our partnered veterinary clinics. After recovery, they are returned to their original locations, with ongoing care provided by dedicated colony caretakers. This program not only reduces the number of feral cats but also alleviates pressure on local shelters, promotes healthier colonies, and supports underprivileged pet owners by offering free or low-cost services.
