Press Pause Press, an international literary magazine with zero social media presence, is in the beginning stages of building a writers and artist retreat center on Flying Fox Farm, a 15-acre horse farm tucked away along a beautiful treeline. 

Located in coastal Jacksonville, North Carolina, Flying Fox Farm will be Press Pause's physical home for many years to come. Our dream is to offer writing, music, and art workshops, creative camps for children, creative therapy for active military and veterans, and a yearly Press Pause creative retreat. We will also offer affordable medium to long-term rentals on our property for writers, artists, and musicians searching for a peaceful sublime location to focus on their creative projects, complete with otherworldly sunsets to end each day. 

Press Pause Press is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to give diverse artists, writers, and musicians a vibrant space to create and share their work free from the noise of social media and the fast-paced demands of modern life.
