Story

Join us preventing teen suicide by supporting DDAAT-App! (TM).

The Flourish Foundation Project Inc is proud to introduce DDAAT-App! - the nation's first city-wide collaborative suicide prevention initiative addressing the correlational impact of increased suicide risk (63% higher suicide risk) found among children, teens, and young adults of absent father households. 

Our mission is to empower youth and young adults with the services and resources they need to avoid suicide and self-harm, embrace life, and create bright futures through STEMM+ (STEM, Life skills, digital animation, music production, broadcasting, videography, gaming, and philanthropic careers) career exploration and community engagement by improving the effectiveness of and access to high quality mental health services & wrap around support programs. 

We believe that when youth are provided with the combination of counseling, engaging suicide prevention programs, and career exploration & guided educational pathways as wrap around support services, can help improve overall mental health and reduce the risk of suicide ultimately improving the effectiveness of suicide prevention programs. 

Introducing DDAAT-App!

The DDAAT-App! Initiative is is more than an app or counseling alone. It's an all-hands-on-deck movement to save our kids lives! Utilizing our patent-pending mobile hub, DDAAT-App! provides a single point of access to counseling and research-based educational tools, resources, and our proprietary STEMM+ Community & Behavioral Health Intervention Program aimed at mitigating external factors which may impede success while promoting improved overall outcomes for suicide prevention mental health services. 

Youth learn vital suicide prevention strategies, alternatives to self-harm, life skills, social emotional learning, self-advocacy, responsible decision making, & peer support methods as they explore exciting career & educational pathways in STEMM+ (STEM, Life skills, digital animation, music production, broadcasting, videography, gaming, philanthropic) fields.  

Community engagement activities an on-demand library allow youth to browse educational, life skill, and motivational videos from mentors, professionals, business and industry leaders, celebrity and professional athletes & musicians sharing valuable lessons learned and tips for entering related career and educational paths place fatherly-advice styled wisdom at the fingertips of the youth when most needed. Each pre-recorded video offers a coordinated lesson plan & parent guides options for subscribing schools and organizations that translate the real-world messages into actionable steps for topics such as goal setting, managing stress & crisis, handling bullying, obtaining a first job, or tips for transitioning to high school or college. 

Engaging like no other, youth are able to participate in project-based learning experiences as they use the STEMM+ skills learned in a variety was ways create peer support themed art, music, short films, animation, songs & music videos, create custom video game avatars, or compete in optional school based competitions in robotics, tactical autonomy, and broadcasting and more!  We are committed to improving the effectiveness of and with innovative technology, educational resources, and tools our nation's youth need to avoid suicide & self-harm, embrace life, and create bright futures.

DDAAT-App! & BackSpinz Present Music & Mental Resilience Series

Tailored for ages 10-17, our program offers vital mental health strategies, peer support techniques, and an exciting introduction to STEMM+ skills. Dive into DJ technology, songwriting, beat mixing, and music production & engineering.
