Go Fourth Media was created in response to the ubiquitous ICE violence and ongoing constitutional challenges unsettling the nation. We are holding ICE and Border Patrol accountable through documentary storytelling in order to preserve democratic and human rights. Your support funds journalistic storytelling with a point of view that goes beyond traditional, established media.

We have created 12 videos and have nearly 1.5 million views across social media. We have been featured in Block Club Chicago, the Chicago Tribune, Fox 32 News, and this article from Project C that summarizes our mission and story. Our work has been shown at universities, activist organizations, and at Doc10 Chicago - the premiere documentary festival in Chicago.

Over the past six months, we have worked to gain the trust of individuals and groups allowing us to give a voice to those who want to be heard. 

THE NEED

We are in need of urgent help to fund our ongoing work. We are currently working on five ongoing media projects and without financial support, the completion of these projects is in jeopardy.

These stories are about:

1. Abuses inside of detention centers.

2. Family separation and trauma including the impact on children.

3. Government overreach and abuses including excessive surveillance.

4. Violation of the laws in place for due process for asylum seekers.

1. Travel expenses.

2. Minimum payments to crew for shoot dates to cover time and expenses.

3. Post-production including Spanish speaking editors and other key personnel.

4. Hard drive and media storage expenses.
