Our mission is simple yet impactful: to offer & provide FREE professional haircuts to every child in the public school system. We believe that grooming is not just about appearance; it’s about dignity, confidence, and ensuring each student feels their best as they focus on their education. In today’s challenging times, many families face financial hardships. We want to remove one small but significant worry from their lives by making sure every child can start the school year with a fresh look, at no cost to their family as well as haircuts throughout the school year.

A fresh haircut can have a powerful impact on a child. It can boost self-esteem, foster a sense of pride, and help them feel more comfortable and confident among their peers. When a child feels good about their appearance, it can lead to improved school participation, better social interactions, and greater focus on learning.

There are approximately 59,100 students in the public schools of Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert Counties combined. Of these, about 21,865 students—roughly 37%- qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, highlighting the significant financial need in our community. To ensure ongoing support and sustainability, we are introducing monthly sponsorship opportunities. Your monthly commitment will help us provide consistent services by funding supplies, professional barbers, and licensed cosmetologists, as well as outreach efforts. This will allow us to serve every child in need, ALL YEAR LONG.
