Seven tiny pups tumbled into our care earlier this summer with their devoted mom by their side. We named them after our favorite Parks & Recreation characters — Leslie, Ron, Tom, and the gang — because their playful personalities seemed just as big as the Pawnee crew’s.

But while we know their names, we don’t know their story. Their breed mix is a mystery waiting to be solved. So, we thought: why not turn that mystery into something fun that also helps cover their care?

That’s how the Guess the Breed Fundraiser was born. For a small donation, you get to play detective. Take your best shot at what breeds make up the Parks & Rec litter — and even guess the percentages. When their DNA results are revealed, the closest guess will win an Arctic Rescue swag gift basket and the ultimate title of “Breed Detective.”

The best part? Every entry helps feed, vet, and care for not just these seven pups, but all the arctic dogs waiting for their chance at a forever home.

Entries close Wednesday, August 27 at 7:00 PM MST. Results will be shared that same evening at 8:30 PM on our Instagram and Facebook.
