Help Us Finish What We Started: Phase Two

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters and our partnership with Mission Doctors Association, Bright Smiles has fully funded the purchase and installation of a commercial washing machine for Our Lady of Good Health Hospital in Kabale, Uganda.

Now we’re ready to finish the job.

The hospital currently has no commercial dryer, so patient linens must be dried outdoors—a process that can be especially difficult during Uganda’s rainy seasons. A commercial dryer will complete the hospital’s laundry system, allowing staff to wash and fully dry linens in a more reliable and controlled environment year-round.

Our Phase Two goal is to raise approximately $12,948 for the commercial dryer and installation.

For a hospital that has relied entirely on washing and drying linens by hand, this equipment represents more than convenience. It will help strengthen infection-prevention practices, improve the availability of clean linens, reduce the burden on hospital staff, and support safer, more dignified care for the patients and families they serve.

We’ve funded the washer. Now, with your help, we hope to complete the system.

Every contribution—large or small—brings Our Lady of Good Health Hospital one step closer to having a complete, sustainable laundry system it can rely on for years to come.

Thank you for being part of Bright Smiles and for helping us finish what we started.
