Our historic buildings and neighborhoods matter. They enrich our lives by their constant, quiet presence and educate us about who we are and where we came from. Our culture has shown a remarkable ability to destroy important elements of our physical heritage—Preservation Utah advocates for this heritage to remind us all that there is wisdom in conservation. Our whole society benefits from the careful preservation of our best buildings.
People become involved in historic preservation in a wide variety of ways, from lovingly restoring a front porch to taking school children on a tour of a historic monument to a campaign to save an important public building. Preservation Utah exists to help people preserve what's important in Utah.
We need your help. Our members are the backbone of our organization. They give us clout with elected officials, provide critical funds for our operations, and lend a hand on important issues.
