This event honors her lifelong dedication to supporting the research and preservation of Black museums worldwide. She serves as Scholar in Residence at Savannah State University, co-chair of the Friends of the Library, and chair of the Archives, Special Collections, and Art Gallery Committee. Save the Date: When: Saturday, September 7, 2024 Where: TBD 10:00 am to 2:00 PM: Family and Community Activities 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm: VIP Cocktail hour, Preview Art Exhibition, and Gala (Black Tie) Daytime activities are open to the public, providing attendees with a vibrant and engaging experience. The evening gala, featuring an exclusive art exhibition, will be a ticketed event with prices to be determined. Mark your calendars for a day of celebration, culture, and community support!
