Welcome to my Fundraiser!

Hello! I'm Lilly Lockman, the author, artist, and political activist behind this fundraiser. Books are more important now than ever! Help me get this current book series, If Republicans Wrote Nursery Rhymes out and physically into the hands of people all over the world. It's a hilarious simple rhyme style book series that brings light to the absurdity of the current Republican party leaders and their agendas.

Volume 1 in the series, 'The Elephant in the Room', has been published in digital form and is available on the publishers website here and Amazon for those with Kindle here .

Donations will go to publishing the book into hard copies that can be placed on coffee tables and shared with others for laughs and deep conversation. Anything you can donate helps. Books are important because they unlock minds, lift loneliness, and inspire imagination. Contributing to causes like this one is important, because it preserves a legacy though your love of reading, learning, and sharing that magic with others... while standing firm on the correct side of history in the making.

This is what the United States of America looks like. People of all ages, races, and from different walks of life. We are too young of a colonized nation to have our own set of unique cultures and traditions. (I say 'colonized' here because there are many Indigenous Nations that this land was home to long before Europeans ever set foot on this soil. They have rich traditions, stories, and a culture that is all their own. I feel that should be recognized.) What makes us, who are young to this land unique, is that so many amazing cultures and traditions are brought together and shared here. It is a melting pot of people from all over the world who both visit and call it home. That is what makes us special. We are stronger than the powers that mean to divide us. We are smarter than the powers that mean to deceive us. We are too resilient and our love of freedom runs too deep to give it up without a fight. Our voices will be heard. We are braver than those in power.... because we have tolerance, compassion, and empathy in our hearts and minds. This is OUR country and campaigns like this help that fight continue.
