Wax Vat Fundraiser

Friends of St. Andrew's!

We're excited to say that St. Andrew's candle fundraising is growing, and that means we need another wax vat!

Our cottage industries, as part of our broad scope of educational ministries, offers students and the St. Andrew's Community members an opportunity to learn small business trade skills, including candle dipping and pouring. For the last number of months, we've had difficulty keeping up with orders and keeping our inventory full.

Please consider a donation to help us raise $2500 to cover the wax vat itself, shipping, and topping it off with wax.

That's a great problem to have, but that means we need a solution. Right now, we lose a couple of days every time we switch from our natural wax to our Ivory white strained wax (no bleach used at St. Andrew's—all natural!) in our ONE wax vat, and that lost time is costing us inventory. As this growth in sales has continued, and allowed us to enroll more students on scholarships, we find that we must expand our candle shop, allowing for more students to learn simultaneously, and for even more candles to be made, and more scholarships offered!
