ArtOUT is an annual LGBTQ+ art exhibition created to uplift queer artists and bring their work into the heart of our community.

For some artists, ArtOUT is their first time showing work in a public gallery. For others, it’s one of the few spaces where they feel fully free to share work that reflects their identity, experiences, and stories without editing themselves for acceptance. That kind of space matters.

Donations to ArtOUT 2026 directly support the artists and the experience around their work. Funding helps cover marketing and promotion to bring new audiences into the exhibition, prize money, and the opening reception where artists are celebrated in community. It also supports exhibition signage, gallery materials, and interactive elements that invite visitors to engage more deeply with the art.

ArtOUT exists because LGBTQ+ artists are still underrepresented and underfunded, especially at the local level. By keeping this exhibition accessible and community-focused, we create real opportunities for visibility, connection, and creative growth.

OUT Arts & Culture is Pinellas County's only LGBTQ+ focused arts and humanities non profit. We offer programs that seek to educate, celebrate and inspire the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.

We move this work forward with four signature programs - BranchOUT, ReadOUT, SpeakOUT and ArtOUT, that showcase LGBTQ topics and talent from around the world.
