Hello Friends and Family!

This year I’ve decided to join a 5k run! If you know me, you know that I’m not a runner but I really wanted to set a goal for myself and commit.

One day I was going through insta stories and came across Kourtney Turner’s stories and she was posting things about the Justin Turner Foundation. One of the stories was a flyer showing different runs you can do this year. I decided to look into the foundation and seen that Justin and Kourtney are doing amazing things with this foundation. They are not only helping children and their families who are struggling here in LA but they are also supporting and providing housing for homeless veterans. Reading this has put me in awe with the Turners.

I decided to sign up to run this year not only for this great foundation but also for my grandpa. My grandpa passed away 3 years ago. My grandpa would run every day (he was a runner). One of my childhood memories was when he would take my brothers, cousins and I to the park with him so he could run and we can play. One day we decided to run along with him and we were trying so hard to keep up and but we couldn’t lol.. We gave up before we got half way through one lap. He is my inspiration. I want to start off with this 5k run and move to a 10k, a half marathon and eventually a full marathon one day. I believe I can do this.
