What is our Season?

From our contemplative recital by Amy Maples to our 2024 Art Song Competition winner, Melanie Dubil to our joyous and tuneful season closer, "Herbert!", this season promises art song across the Front Range and Pikes Peak region.

With the beginning of the '24-25 season, Art Song Colorado celebrates 10 years since being founded as Denver Art Song Project and 5 years since our 501c3 incorporation.

Why Art Song?

Art song is a broad and accessible style of classical singing. We chose to be Art Song Colorado because a typical "classical" voice recital can include opera, oratorio, musical theatre and more! We have the opportunity to change the typical stand and sing experience by adding narration, video, supertitles and surprises that will change the way you think about classical and concert music.

Wow... it seems like you do a lot... Give me the elevator pitch...

Art Song Colorado is a lot of things:

1.) We produce engaging and inspiring concerts that feature Colorado's best professional singers.

2.) We support Colorado artists through paid singing engagements, online video creation, albums on our non-profit label, DASP Productions, and give them space to create their own singing experiences through our Sponsored Artist program.

3.) We bring all of this directly to Colorado audiences for a reasonable price.

BONUS! We are adding a tour of free performances of our hit show "Amuse Bouche" in March, 2025 and are collaborating with other performance groups for some surprising new projects.

How would I be recognized?

Donate by August 30, 2024 and you will be in all of our programs for the season as a season sponsor! After that, we'll add you to programs as long as you donate three weeks prior to our performance.
