On this epic Grand Canyon hike, we’ll start from the South Rim and descend into the Canyon at 4am via the South Kaibab trail. After crossing the Colorado River and having lunch at Phantom Ranch, we’ll test our personal limits and complete the day by ascending 4,700 feet via Bright Angel Trail.

We’ll get some sleep and descend again at 4 am via the Bright Angel Trail, ascending 4,700 feet back out again to the South Rim.

At night, temps will be around freezing with the possibility of snow.

During the day, we will face long stretches in direct sun and temps of 100°+.
