EmergencyRV Year In Review 2025

Thanks to your support, 2025 was our most impactful year providing shelter since we started this work in 2018.

We delivered RVs to flood survivors in the Texas Hill country, Kentucky tornado survivors, and families who lost their homes in the Southern California Wildfires, and Hurricane Helene survivors in Western North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.

When Hurricane Helene carved a destructive path from Florida to North Carolina, it left countless families without homes—and most without flood insurance. Because of your support, we were able to provide safe shelter for 120 families, including 15 veteran and first responder households. Among them was a 103-year-old World War II veteran, whose resilience inspired us all. Click HERE to watch the video of EmergencyRV donating an RV to this sweet hero in the aftermath of the storm.

In January 2025, Southern California experienced devastating wildfires. Tens of thousands of acres were burned, more than 18,000 structures were destroyed, and the fires claimed numerous lives. Many families were left especially vulnerable after their fire insurance had been canceled just months earlier, when insurance companies withdrew from the region. Thanks to your support, we have been able to shelter 48 families during a time of crisis, including a Pasadena firefighter named Chien Yu, who lost his home in the Eaton Fire. On July 4, 2025, torrential rains in the Texas Hill Country triggered catastrophic flooding, with water levels rising as high as 39 feet in certain areas. The disaster claimed 135 lives, including 36 children. In the aftermath, we were able to provide shelter to 13 families. It was gut wrenching work given the loss of the children in this area, but thanks to your support we were able to provide hope to the families we helped in the region. The photo taken by Luna below shows just how high the Guadalupe River rose. It was truly horrifying to see.

Emergency RV sheltered 16 families in the Kentucky tornados and we still have hundreds of families seeking shelter in the wake of natural disasters.

Since 2018, we have gifted over 350 RV's families across the nation who lost everything to Natural Disasters. We prioritize veterans, first responders, and families with young children, but with your support, we will continue to help any disaster-impacted family in need of shelter and hope.

Your generous donations allow us to cover transportation costs, purchase new tires, and stock each RV with essential supplies. Every contribution brings us closer to providing a family with relief, stability, and shelter.

Together, we bring light in the darkest of times. Help us offer more families a second chance at a fresh start. Your donation is fully tax deductible.
